Mining Permits
A. When a sand permit is obtained for a Non-commercial purpose.
Following Documents should be produced
- Duly filled application with the recommendation of the Grama Niladhari of your Division.Download.
- Letters of consent of the private owners of both sides of banks of the the place of sand encavation certified by the Grama Niladhari of your division.
- The documents for the certification of the sand necessity certified by Grama Niladhari of your division.
The amount relevent to the sand cubes being transported should be paid to the office.
B. When gravel and sand is transported transported for a Non-Commercial purpose.
a. When a permit for 35 Cubes of gravel and soil is obtained.
A permit can be obtained from the Grama Niladari for 35 cubes of soil and gravel when soil or gravel is transported to another land to remove them from one's land to construct a building for personal use in one's land.Following documents should be submited to Grama Niladhari of your division.
- Duly filled application.Download
- Deed and the plan of the place of encavation of soil or gravel.
- Deed and plan of the place where soil or gravel is transpoted to.
The permit can be obtained on submission of above documents to the Grama Niladhari.
b. When a permit for 35-50 cubes of soil or gravel is obtained.
Following documents should be submited for obtaining permit for 35-50 cubes of soil or gravel
- Duly filled application with the recommendation of Grama Niladhari of your division.Download.
- The Deed and the plan of the place where soil or gravel is encavated with the certification of Grama Niladhari of your division.
- The Deed and the plan of the place where soil or gravel is transpoted to with the certification of Grama Niladhari of your division.
The amount relevent to the cubes of soil or gravel being transported should be paid to the office.The permit can be obtained with the approval of the Divisional Secretary on the submission of above documents.
